Iconic sandal silhouette becomes newest canvas for California designers
GOLETA, Calif., June 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Teva® (a division of Deckers Brands, NYSE: DECK) continues to celebrate the expression of freedom embodied by the Original collection with two new webbing designs by National Forest. A design firm and creative consultancy founded by artists and designers Steven Harrington and Justin Krietemeyer, National Forest brings their trademark bright, iconic and contemporary Californian aesthetic to these two new styles for men and women. As part of the Teva Artist Series, the exclusive National Forest collection will be available starting June 15 for $60 at Teva.com.
Launched in spring 2015, the Artist Series blends well-crafted sandals with imaginative design to honor the artists who bring Teva footwear to life, creating wearable works of art. As the second collection in the series, National Forest reimagines the classic silhouette of the Original Universal sandal with limited edition webbing and marbled details, creating sandals that are true conversation pieces. With its own unique personality, the National Forest collection features a modern and fresh interpretation of the iconic Original.

Art is about discovery; the webbing design process was intriguing because it inspired a new avenue of personal discovery. Designed to encourage a conversation between the wearer and the viewer, the National Forest collection exemplifies individuality, creativity and the expression of freedom valued by Teva.
