That is, of course, unless you have the Bomber Flip. With an unbelievably grippy Spider Rubber + JStep sole and a strap that goes over your foot to keep you from sliding around, the Bomber Flip was really built to be a performance flip flop. Yes, we said performance flip flop.

I love the support of this flip flop. When I wear it on the pool deck, my back doesn't hurt as it does with other flip flops. The top part will take my foot a bit of time to get used to (I hope). The last flip flop I bought from Teva had a bit better top but still it took my foot a bit of time to get use to it. I should have bought two at the time as that one wore out and this new one is the closest to that old one. This time I did purchase two, so I am planning on my upper foot getting used to the straps.

I wear the Bomber Flip Flops when I check out the surf, around the crag, camping, and its reliable for moderate hiking. I had a pair of Ultimates, the precursor to the Bomber, that lasted for 6 years. For a while, the Ultimates were not available, and I kept searching for a replacement. So it was great to see the Bomber.

Needed to find replacement after my last pair of secure flip flops (by Teva) could not resoled---after about 10yr, figure I got my money's worth.
These are absolutely great! Have been wearing almost nonstop since they arrived 3+ weeks ago.
