Expanding upon our line of women's specific light hiking product is the Sky Lake. Unlike many women's boots that are just clunky, sized down versions of men's hiking boots, the sleek Sky Lake was designed from the ground up to fit a woman's foot perfectly. So unless clunky is your thing, why choose between style and performance when you can have both?

    Comments about Sky Lake:

I just bought these recently and am loving them. I hike daily on rocky trails and really like the stability they provide, plus they are super comfortable. I also love their look-I bought them in the blue/gray. I'm not sure how durable they are because I haven't had them for very long, but so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

    Missing my bungee laces

    By Redc

    About Me Rarely Work Out

    Pros

    • Comfortable
    • Durable
    • Good Cushioning
    • Lightweight
    • Stabilizes Foot

    Cons

    • No Bungee Cord Laces

    Best Uses

    • Everyday

    Comments about Sky Lake:

I miss the bungee cord laces, they make it so easy for me. I am in my 70's.
Also these laces have to be double knotted, they are Slippery and constantly in-tie. That is my only complaint. My churn evo's are wearing out and Teva is not stocking my size which is a common 8 1/2.

    Great mid-weight hiking shoe

    By ElaineL

    About Me Recreational Walker/Hiker

    Pros

    • Comfortable
    • Durable
    • Good Cushioning
    • Great Traction
    • Pronation Control
    • Stabilizes Foot

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Gravel
      • Mixed Terrain
      • Paved Trails
      • Rocky/Unstable Terrain
      • Slopes

      Comments about Sky Lake:

Bought these in size 9.5 after wearing a size 9 pair of the same style for 6 months. The size 9 was too narrow for toes on my left foot, where I have a small bunion. This style is perfect for wearing at our hilly, rural property -- particularly where footing is hard to see and on steep gravel roads found in the area. One note -- the model in the online photo featured a sky blue trim and the shoes came with a trim that is very purple.
