Most Comfortable Flip Flops Ever!!

By Nashgirl29

from Tennessee

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Good Arch Support
  • Lightweight

Cons

  • Noisy

Best Uses

  • At The Beach
  • Travel

I bought these flip flops the night before a sightseeing trip to Washington, DC and I am so glad I did! These flip flops saved my feet. I walked for 9-10 hours per day in these shoes and did not get blisters or have any major foot pain after wearing them all day. I have worn other shoes for intensive walking trips and remember my feet being so sore they felt like they had been bruised. Not so with these flip flops! My feet were barely sore at the end of the day. The cushiony bottom absorbs a lot of shock from walking on sidewalks and other hard surfaces. The band does not chafe and held the flip flops on my feet without having to scrunch my toes. My only complaint is that, after walking around in warmer temperatures and getting a bit sweaty, these shoes were squeaky! At times, the squeaking was pretty loud. However, that's a small price to pay for comfort. I have worn the flip flops since (for a lot less than 9 hours) and have not noticed any squeaking. When the flip flops got dirty, I rinsed them off with water and let them dry overnight...just like new! I'm planning on wearing these for the rest of the summer to the beach, lake, boating, and walking my dog. Excellent buy!

Pros

  • I Will Always Love These

Cons

  • Why So Narrow Now

Best Uses

First I ordered this pair, Teva Women's Olowahu W Flip Flop,Soft Ground Chocolate,8 M US...they were so narrow that even my friend with super slim feet found them horribly tight. Then I ordered 2 pairs of these, Teva Women's Mush II W Flip Flop,Fronds Brown,8 M US...and they were the same thing. I'm going to try one more time and order the MUSH ORIGINAL. I hope they really do fit. I never had a problem with the width before this. I originally bought a pair 4 years ago when I tore a tendon in my foot. These were the only flip flops I could walk in for a year. Which is why I wanted to order them again before I went on vacation. Crossing my fingers. I'll come back and leave a review on the MUSH ORIGINALS on Monday June 23, 2014

Need a couple changes to be great.

About Me Casual, Conservative

Pros

  • Stylish
  • Tread On The Bottom

Cons

  • Rubber Logo Pokes Heals

Best Uses

  • At The Beach

I bought these about 3 weeks ago and had to buy a 9 since they only come in whole sizes. They are cut a bit long in the toe. I can't imagine that anyone has that long of a big toe. Other than that they were more comfortable, had tread on the bottom, and I was over all very happy...until... I wore them for several hours shopping one day and the next day the center of my heels were both sore. Once I put these shoes back on I could feel that the rubber logo they have on the heels of each shoe was pushing into my heals and making them sore. The rubber of the logo is much harder then the rest of the sole and therefore doesn't mash down as much as the surrounding sole, causing it to press into your heal. Only after walking for several hours did this become apparent but it's pretty obvious that this is a design flaw in most of the sandals they sell. I was actually planning on buying a couple more pairs but I won't be doing that now unless they change the sole design. Otherwise they are really nice low cost shoes.

    Q:

What is the best way to clean my new amazing flip flops? I want to keep them smelling fresh and looking new.
Asked on 9/24/2013 by Mary from NY

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

We foremost recommend using an antibacterial soap and water and hand wash, please do not machine wash. Also try scrubbing the top sole with a soft bristled brush while cleaning and gently bending the sandal from heel to toe under water pressure so that any dirt in the grooves of the top sole will wash away. Let them dry naturally out of direct sunlight.

The Teva Mush is not waterproof. They are water friendly sandals. We just not recommend saturating them in water for long periods of time.
