      Comments about Niyama Flat:

I loved these shoes! They were lightweight, fit like a second skin, and were cute. Unfortunately they rubbed on the top of the big toe and under the ankle of my right foot, causing intense pain at the end of the day. I had to give them away. This is not the shoe's fault, as I have toe problems from time to time anyway. I really wanted to keep these, as they were (for the most part) super comfortable like every other pair of Teva shoes I own.

              Q:

Hi! I bought a few pair of your fabric Niyamas and really like them. I was looking at the questions and I noticed it stated that they are not waterproof. To other questions it is stated they could be worn in water and handwashed. I am a little confused as this seems contradictory. (I live in a very rainy city so it's pretty important for me to know if the fabric will be harmed or discolored if wet). Thank you

These shoes can be worn in water and hand washed. Water will no damage them. They are not waterproof in the way that water can penetrate of the shoe and may take longer to dry.

I wear a 4A shoe and want to know if this shoe can be adjusted to a very narrow foot with a high arch.
Most shoes are too wide and I walk right out them.

The strap on the Niyama does not adjust tighter, it adjust behind the back of the shoe so it can be converted into a ballerina.

                A:

We would not recommend washing our shoes in a washer machine. We would recommend hand washing them in a mild soap and allowing them to dry naturally our of direct sunlight.

On the new women's Niyama flat: Can the strap be adjusted, pivoted/moved to the back of the shoe, or snapped off/removed altogether?

                A:

The strap cannot be removed altogether, but it is moveable so that it converts into a ballerina. There is a loop on the back that you can put the strap through to hold it into place.
