About Me Casual, Conservative

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Lightweight

Cons

  • Toe Too Long Too Flat

Best Uses

  • Every Day

I had a pair of Teva (not sure which style) for several years that I wore all the time in the summer and decided it was time for a new pair. I decided on the Mush II because I liked the color/pattern choices better. In reading the reviews I decided I should order them the next size bigger to make sure they fit. Wrong choice! They are too long in the toe and feel a little wide (and I don't have a narrow foot). They are also not as comfortable as my old Tevas because the sole is flat instead of higher in the back. I would prefer a little lift in the heel, but I don't see any flip-flops online that look like they are made that way anymore. I figure I'll get used to the "too big" look and the flat bottom, but I wish I had returned them before I wore them.

I live in sunny California and i wear my Teva's almost everywhere. I have several pairs and even took one pair to Antarctica. BUT, here's the thing. I wear a 12 N (narrow) which is IMPOSSIBLE to get. Often i've bought men's Teva's and had the straps shortened. Thing is, they are usually way too wide for me and they LOOK like a men's design. You can't imagine how exciting it is to buy Teva's made for MY foot! And, they're cute besides! They fit just right and i love them!

I bought these flip flops the night before a sightseeing trip to Washington, DC and I am so glad I did! These flip flops saved my feet. I walked for 9-10 hours per day in these shoes and did not get blisters or have any major foot pain after wearing them all day. I have worn other shoes for intensive walking trips and remember my feet being so sore they felt like they had been bruised. Not so with these flip flops! My feet were barely sore at the end of the day. The cushiony bottom absorbs a lot of shock from walking on sidewalks and other hard surfaces. The band does not chafe and held the flip flops on my feet without having to scrunch my toes. My only complaint is that, after walking around in warmer temperatures and getting a bit sweaty, these shoes were squeaky! At times, the squeaking was pretty loud. However, that's a small price to pay for comfort. I have worn the flip flops since (for a lot less than 9 hours) and have not noticed any squeaking. When the flip flops got dirty, I rinsed them off with water and let them dry overnight...just like new! I'm planning on wearing these for the rest of the summer to the beach, lake, boating, and walking my dog. Excellent buy!

      Q:

What is the best way to clean my new amazing flip flops? I want to keep them smelling fresh and looking new.

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

We foremost recommend using an antibacterial soap and water and hand wash, please do not machine wash. Also try scrubbing the top sole with a soft bristled brush while cleaning and gently bending the sandal from heel to toe under water pressure so that any dirt in the grooves of the top sole will wash away. Let them dry naturally out of direct sunlight.

        A:

The Teva Mush is not waterproof. They are water friendly sandals. We just not recommend saturating them in water for long periods of time.

        A:

The Original Mush has a wider and thicker footbed than the Mush II. The actual height and width of the Mush II footbed is streamlined for a more sleek look.

Hi, I'm a size 7.5. My feet are more long and narrow. Do Teva's run small or large on sizes? What size would you recommend I get - a 7 or 8?

This style typically runs true-to-size. If between sizes , ordering up a half size is recommended. If normally a 7.5, then an 8 would be advised.
