Tevas in Europe

Our Tevas have pretty much trekked all over Western Europe ... on the trails of the Black Forest, in the Alps of Switzerland, through castle ruins in Wales, in the rain at Waterloo, and on Texel in the Netherlands. We love the comfort and durability of the sandals and shoes. I practically live in my Teva Curbsides and my Hurricanes are on year five.
I've attached a pic from our trip to Texel this year. The wind was blowing so hard that within 10 minutes our girls Tevas were practically covered in the sand. A quick rinse in the surf and we were off again.
The only downside with outfitting our whole tribe in Tevas? Kid's feet grow so fast! Fortunately, the durability of your products means that we can pass them along from older kids to younger.
Thanks,
Paul

Early September in the Interior of Alaska is moose season! Hiking swamps, brushy woods, and damp sloughs is tough work, but it's all worth it when you can bring home a moose for winter meat. Nothing beats organic meat! This past fall my husband and a friend went moose hunting early on the first day of the season. Shortly after 7:30 am, I received a phone call from my husband "Moose Down!" was the joyous shout! So, I made sandwiches, took a couple of apples and two good Alaskan beers for them, grabbed my backpack, and headed out to where they'd been hunting. Wearing Smartwool socks and my Teva Omnium sandals, I was prepared for wherever I had to hike - through the woods, across the sloughs, or across the swamps. I managed to stay dry on the way out, but on the way back with a heavy backpack full of moose ribs, I took a different path back toward the road and ended up in mud up to my ankles. My Teva sandals were no longer gray, they were brown! When I got home, I poured water over them, rinsing the mud off multiple times. Finally they were clean! When they dried, they were good as new! Thank you for making a sandal that will go through mud and moose hunts and still be good as new afterwards!
Attached is a picture of the Tevas in all their muddy glory!
