Spider Original™

A lot of people ask why we named our original rubber compound after one of the creepiest creatures on the planet. In response, we ask them if they’ve ever seen a cute puppy climb up a completely vertical, soaking wet rock. No? We rest our case.

I've had surgery on my feet & back, so I must have supportive & comfortable shoes. These sandals are so comfortable, I can walk a long time & my feet do not feel tired.

I got these for a wedding rehearsal dinner. (if I could have found light color soles in gold, I would have worn those to the wedding!) I live in the country and walk and work (landscaping) hard. Teva's are as good on sidewalks as they are in creeks, as comfortable to dance in as to push a shovel and haul dirt... I have found them to be an excellent value for the price and consistently well made. This is my 10th pair of Tevas. I wore "Pretty Rugged" for years and find that "Tirra" does an equally competent job of staying properly placed on wet or dry working feet.
I keep some for grubby hard work, some for dressier, and downgrade as they wear. They last for years. Hooray for honest shoes!

Love TEVA shoes. They make my feet happy and me happy. I love style and comfort and Teva provides that with great arch support. I love that they hold up Summer after Summer, money well spent. Only problem is that if you wear the same pair every day, my sweaty feet make them smell--but that is an every shoe issue -- it's important to let them air out for 24 hours before reuse--that's why I own 2 of them.

                A:

We foremost recommend using an antibacterial soap and water and hand wash, please do not machine wash. Also try scrubbing the top sole with a soft bristled brush while cleaning and gently bending the sandal from heel to toe under water pressure so that any dirt in the grooves of the top sole will wash away.

                Other options:
Mix 1 cup of Listerine (or any antibacterial mouth wash) to 2 cups of water. Soak for 15 minutes and scrub with a bristled brush. Let air dry.
Put sandals in a pool/hot tub with chlorine for 15-20 minutes. Scrub with a hard bristled brush. Rinse. Air dry.
Wash them in the shower with Shampoo.
Once clean, place the sandals in a sealable plastic bag and freeze overnight
