Comments about De La Vina Low:

Absolutely love this boot! Super stylish and cute! Waterproof to boot! Great for walking around in our sloppy winter weather. No leaking and still look great. Thick lining so very warm and the leather seems to be good quality. Looks awesome with skinny jeans or tights. Couldn't ask for more in a winter boot- warm, waterproof, easy to care for, and looks great!! I wear a 7.5 and the 7.5 fit perfect even with water socks.

Everyday Boots... until the zipper broke

Comments about De La Vina Low:

I wore these boots upwards of 5 times a week, they were sturdy and cute and comfortable---which is important because I'm a teacher an on my feet constantly. After about 9 months of wear though, the zipper on one boot broke. I guess I'll buy another pair and see if it lasts longer than the first, because otherwise they held up quite well. I had the bison color pair and it shows scratches really easily, but it's not to bad if you oil them.

Keep making cute boots! I'd like to buy the black/green canvas, but I think a darker sole would look more professional-wear appropriate so I'm deliberating on colors.

How do you recommend cleaning and caring for these boots? I got mine six months ago and have been wearing them frequently, and they're starting to look really worn.

            Q:

Should I apply some sort of sealant before use to protect the leather, or does the leather come with a protector pre-applied? I have worn them once and already see some changes in coloration, is this normal? I have never owned leather boots before.
