Comments about De La Vina Low:

I got these shoes almost four years ago and wore them nearly everyday sense then. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I have worn them so much that now I need to get a new pair of shoes. I plan to get the same pair of shoes because I liked them that much.

Comments about De La Vina Low:

These boots work great with skirts, jeans, or cords. They protect from hard rain without any leather conditioning on my part (will probably need this with age). I live in a very cold climate, so we'll see how warm they are in a month or so. I don't expect them to get me through the winter here, but that is not their purpose.

My only complaint is that they begin to be uncomfortable towards the end of a day on my feet. I'm not sure, but I think this is due to poor arch support. However, they were the most comfortable pair of boots that I tried on in the store. I may just have high maintenance feet as I usually wear Chacos, Danskos and mountaineering boots with insoles.

Comments about De La Vina Low:

I bought a pair of these boots in low black last year, love them so much I bought the low brown and high black, too. I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit comfortably, wide, very high instep, and these boots are so comfortable I can walk in them all day. Plus I love how they look. Most favorite boots ever.

          Q:

How do you recommend cleaning and caring for these boots? I got mine six months ago and have been wearing them frequently, and they're starting to look really worn.

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

We recommend treating them with a leather cleaner/conditioner, and regularly using a leather protectant on them.

          Q:

Should I apply some sort of sealant before use to protect the leather, or does the leather come with a protector pre-applied? I have worn them once and already see some changes in coloration, is this normal? I have never owned leather boots before.

          Q:

What type of shank does Teva use with these boots? I have found if the boot doesn't have any shank it doesn't provide adequate foot support.

These boots are waterproof, but not insulated. However, you can wear them with a thick/thermal sock for warmth.

Will these boots stretch with time?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Since the back of the boot is lined with suede, the shaft of the boot might stretch a bit with time.
