Not all beaches are sugar-soft, so we built the Jetter Thong to take a few bumps. The compression-molded, EVA midsole is a bit more beefy than standard flops – with a Shoc Pad™ under the heel and a contoured finish throughout. Waterproof leather and mesh straps offer a nice, supportive wrap and dry fast if they get wet. And our Spider Original rubber sole maintains good grip.

Spider Original™

A lot of people ask why we named our original rubber compound after one of the creepiest creatures on the planet. In response, we ask them if they’ve ever seen a cute puppy climb up a completely vertical, soaking wet rock. No? We rest our case.

  • Our Spider Original rubber is made to grip like crazy in wet environments.
  • Open toe construction doesn’t allow water to pool.
  • Waterproof upper materials can handle getting wet.
  • Leather and Suede Upper.
  • A microfiber footbed is soft and luxurious.

      Comments about Jetter Thong:

I have been a Teva admirer and advocate for years. These Jetter Flips feel 10 times better than my last pair of Kativa's. A Teva fan will be able to tell immediately upon sliding your foot in on how comfortable they are and how little break in period will be needed. I absolutely love them and have received numerous compliments on the new style of Teva's that I'm wearing.

        Comments about Jetter Thong:

I generally avoid flip flops because they don't have enough support or stability for using in a boat. These are the exception. They have a great deck sole for the boat, and good support.

          Q:

I'm considering upgrading to the Jetter from the Katavi due to the better footbed support and foot shock resilience. As a woman who normally wears an 8.5 or 9 what size would be best in the Jetter?

How about making these men's styles available in women's sizes? Some of us want sturdy, solid and supportive foot wear for camping and walking. We don't always want the thin, pretty flips!
          Thanks

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

A women's size 9 is equivalent to a men's size 7. We appreciate your suggestion about offering these styles in women's. We will forward your suggestion to our product development team.

We recommend hand washing them with a mild anti-bacterial soap or detergent as needed to help rid them of odor-causing bacteria. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry out of direct heat or sunlight.
