The same widely loved fit and comfort has been enhanced by 200g of Thinsulate™ insulation, a Vibram Icetrek outsole and our T.I.D.E Seal waterproof membrane, so you can enjoy the comfort and performance of the Riva all year long.

I own 3 pairs of teva boots. Like 3 generations of the same shoe.
The 1st- Ossagon Mid eVent Boots
The 2nd - RIVA LEATHER MID EVENT
The 3rd and most recent addition- RIVA WINTER MID WP
I must say that the ossagon boots were extremely comfortable but not durable- the spider outsole came off after a year, I have to shoe-goo it every 6 months or so.
The RIVA leather mid however, were fantastic! and still are. The only thing I had trouble with was when I got to do a little skiing. My feet were dry but cold.
The RIVA winter mid packs all the pros from the previous generations to the max- fit, durability, comfort and weather proofing. It feels a bit stiff at the first few days and this is also the break in period, but its worth it. A great all around shoe with a fantastic vibram outsole just like the RIVA leather.
