Pinner

Some people ride their bikes off the trail and straight onto the podium to celebrate a win. Others ride them off the trail and straight to a tailgate to celebrate the ride. The Pinner is for the second group. Its sole was designed to integrate with a bike pedal and it’s packed with all the cushioning you need, but it’s got the look of a shoe you’d wear on a night out with your buddies

T.I.D.E. GRIP
  • Our Spider365 Rubber sole will hold its grip in all kinds of environments
  • The sole of the Pinner was designed specifically to interface with the unique platform of a bike pedal
  • Aggressive tread designs at the toe and heel will grip the dirt when you're hoofin' it
  • Teva E-Brake in the heel features a reverse lug pattern to give you downhill traction when you're off your bike
T.I.D.E. COMFORT
  • A Shoc Pad™ in the heel makes for a smooth ride
  • Extra padding throughout the upper softens your landings
  • Suede and synthetic leather upper
  • Our Mush® Infused Insole brings the absurd comfort of our flip flops into a shoe

Weight: 13.0 oz

Spider 365™

Spider 365™

One rubber, huge range of uses. Spider365 Rubber is the spork of our rubber arsenal.

Shoc Pad™

Shoc Pad™

You wouldn't ride a bike without a seat. The same logic applies for our Shoc Pad™ technology, which will give you a smooth ride without inhibiting your performance.

Mush® Infused Insole

Mush® Infused Insole

Now we're not necessarily splicing Mush® genes back in the T.I.D.E Lab to build a hybrid mutant insole, but we do have an insole that’s worthy of the Mush name.

Pedlamp™

Pedlamp™

Slipping off your pedal can be painful … and really, really awkward. To prevent that, we worked with our team of professional freeride bikers to develop the PedalLINK outsole. It was designed to link up with the pegs of your pedal to keep your foot in place and in control. On top of that, it's got lugs at the toe and heel to help you get around when you're off your bike.

    Clipless Pedals Be Gone!

    By Jimbojoe

    from San Antonio, TX

    Pros

    • Darn comfortable
    • No slip on flat pedals
    • True to size

    Cons

    • Tongue too thick

    Best Uses

    • Bar hopping after ride
    • BMX riding
    • Commuter cycling shoe
    • Mountain biking

    Comments about Pinner:

I switched from clipless pedals to flat platform pedals on my mountain bike due to foot and knee problems. The switch to platform pedals wouldn't have been a positive step for me if it weren't for the Teva Pinner. Most of the foot and knee pain has been reduced after only a couple of weeks riding on the Pinner. If you need a stiffer sole, look at the Teva Links, which are a little more expensive. I personally like the Pinner because I also use them for short hikes and rambling around town after rides. The less stiff sole is best for me. After I started riding with the Pinner, my wife decided she wanted to go with platform pedals on her mountain bike, so we ordered her a pair (she normally wears an 8.5 womens, so ordered a 7.5 men's which fit perfectly). See the recent positive product review of the Teva Links on page 78 of Dirt Rag magazine #163, which also mentions the Teva Pinner.

If wiping them down with a damp cloth doesn't do the trick, they can be hand washed using a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and let them air dry out of direct sunlight.
