I bought these to wear before and after soccer so I don't wear down my cleats, but can still leave my socks on when it's cold. I am a 10.5 and always opt for an 11 when 1/2 sizes aren't offered, but these are long and I had to exchange them for the 10. Otherwise they are light, don't take up too much room in my gear bag and very comfortable.
