Comments about Hurricane XLT:
I love the sandals. This is my third pair in six years, so I've been averaging three years per pair. A bit expensive, but I've tried some other brands and they fell apart in months. The last pair didn't come apart, the sole wore out, kickstarting a motorcycle. I wear them every day. I lived on a sailboat up until a few months ago. Lately I've moved on land, I notice that the the soles absorb the soil from my garden and then I can't get the sole of my feet clean. I have a continuous black smudge on my heel and ball of my feet.
But I'm incredibly frugal (cheap) but I still spend the big bucks on the sandals.

Comments about Hurricane XLT:
I needed a pair of sandals for casual wear and use at the beach. After a fair amount of research, I decided on these and have not been disappointed. They are comfortable without a break-in period and look great.

Comments about Hurricane XLT:
I've been buying these for my husband for years. We don't even bother looking elsewhere for a different brand or style. DH finds them comfortable, durable and flexible to wear for many different occasions. The best part is they don't get slippery in or near water. He wears them to the beach, biking, working in the yard and even to casual social gatherings.

Q:
I have a wide foot 10 1/2. Will size 10 be appropriate?Asked on 5/12/2013 by Bill from Cherry Hill, NJ1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This style is made in a "D" width and is fully adjustable. The footbed does tend to run slightly long, therefore we typically recommend ordering either your typical shoe size or 1/2 size down if you are in between sizes.Answered on 5/13/2013 by Teva Product Specialist

Q:
do tevas come in half sizes? For example 9.5, 10, 10.5Asked on 1/8/2013 by none from new york2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Most of our styles come in half sizes, however this is a less structured style and is offered in whole sizes only. The Terra Fi 3 is a similar style that is available in half sizes.Answered on 1/10/2013 by Teva Product SpecialistA:
No, they do not. I haven't had the new XLT, but looking forward to trying. On the previous couple generations of Hurricanes, I think they run a little on the large side. I've been wearing them almost daily for the last 12 years, at least when I'm not barefoot. Usually take a 10.5 or 11 in shoes. But an 11 Hurricane has a big over-hang in front of my toes that I trip over, unless I hack off about 1/2" of the sole. A 10 OTOH is slightly small, but the best out of the box fit for me. If you wear a half size, I'd say go down to the next whole rather then up. Better yet, find a local retailer where you can try 'em on.Answered on 2/14/2013 by 'Droid from Asheville, NC
