As someone who used to wear athletic shoes for anything I was looking for something stylish that still felt athletic and these shoes nailed it. I wear these with shorts, jeans and some even more dress related pants. These are the perfect shoe for grabbing dinner with a spouse or a beer with friends. I've even run with these on a treadmill because I forgot my athletic shoes at home.
These are one of those shoes that I feel like I'll always own as long as they aren't discontinued.

My husband finds these shoes comfortable, so we will keep them. However they are a far cry from the all leather Teva slipons I bought for him some years ago (and which he wore until there were holes in the soles!). These shoes are basically canvas, with a small amount of leather--surrounding the heel, and a strip above the sole. Please Teva! would be willing to pay more for a better shoe!
