A close cousin to our Bomber Flip, this strapping young hybrid hopscotches river rocks with surefooted ease and offers a bit more grit on the trail. The modified strap configuration provides extra vamp and heel support through active maneuvers while the amphibious sole absorbs shock, grips everything, and dries in a flash.

T.I.D.E. GRIP
  • Our Spider Rubber + JStep outsole was designed to keep its grip on a grease-covered aluminum ramp (true story). Wet rocks shouldn’t be a problem.
  • T.I.D.E. HYDRO
  • Open toe construction doesn’t allow water to pool.
  • T.I.D.E. COMFORT
  • An adjustable ankle strap makes for a good fit.
  • Multiple points of adjustment allow for the perfect fit.
  • A soft Shoc Pad™ in the heel gives you serious shock absorption.
  • Webbing upper.
  • Weight: 10.0 oz

    Shoc Pad™

    Shoc Pad™

You wouldn't ride a bike without a seat. The same logic applies for our Shoc Pad™ technology, which will give you a smooth ride without inhibiting your performance.

    Spider Rubber® + JStep®

    Spider Rubber® + JStep®

Our Spider Rubber + JStep outsole may be the grippiest sole we’ve ever made, which is saying something, considering we made our reputation sticking to wet rocks.

        Comments about Bomber Sandal:

I use these sandals for light walks around the neighborhood and light trails. Outside of the tread gathering up small grit easily and not releasing it is the only problem I hadwith them. Have to remove then and clean the tread before walking on hard wood or tile floors as the grit will mark the surface.

          Comments about Bomber Sandal:

I've gotten many compliments on these Bombers. Although they are a bit on the expensive side, they are well worth it. I've put these sandals through everything in the past couple weeks. Dates (w jeans look pretty nice), hiking, sports (golf, disc golf, softball) and even the beach - they are true to form. I actually have fairly sweaty feet but it doesn't seem to soak into the fabric or rubber to create an unpleasant odor. Very comfortable and I can't wait to break them in a bit further.

They seem very well-made but I am still very anxious to see how long these last. My suggestion: buy them, now.

              Q:

I have a very wide foot and have been using the Terra-Fi which works out fine for me. Would the Bomber be about the same?

                A:

All of our men's styles are made in a "D" width, however the Bomber Sandal, like the Terra Fi, has a roomy toe box and is adjusutable.

If you are in between sizes, we recommend ordering 1/2 size up in this style.

              Q:

I run, trail run mostly, in my Teva sandals. I wonder if the strap latch will hold up to half marathon or more distances on the trail. Older buckle and velcro straps have both held up well over the distance. These sandals look great but I just wonder about the strap.
