I am a retired person living in the mounatins of Central Oregon who loves to go barefoot when I can, and my Barracudas are the first shoes I reach for when the weather or terrain demands something more substantive. They are waterproof, minimal, attractive, and affordable. A winning combination for me.

I loved these sandals, bought and wore them for water walking and water aerobics. The only problem is that no matter how I adjusted them, they wore blisters on several parts of both feet. No more than one would heal, I'd get another. At times I had 3 or 4 on each foot. I finally bought a pair of more athletic water shoes that are fabric and mesh. I wish the sandals worked out because it was just what I wanted.

I was looking for a sandal that was light weight (both physically and visually) like a thong, but would stay on my foot. And they had to be comfortable. I'm fanatical about having comfortable shoes. I wore these around all day today and they did really well. The only imperfection is that the top strap rubbed my foot and made a red spot. I'd like to see a softer strap or maybe a soft lining, or maybe just round the corners of the underside of the strap.
Everything else about them was great. They're a perfect alternative to a slide style or thong style sandal. Thanks Teva.
