          Comments about Churn:

This was my first experience with no-tie shoes. The shoe initially seemed a little tight around the ankle, so I wore them around the house with and without socks. They soon molded to my foot and are now very comfortable. It's like like slipping a sock on and off, but with aggressive tread and a very stable base. I will use them for walking and workouts the gym.

I want a snug fit, no socks, will be swimming in them. The 9 looks like it has the length but I'm unsure as to the width.

My width is 4 1/4 inches, length is 10 1/4 inches.

Do your feet stay dry in water ? Do you suggest not wearing socks?
Asked on 9/2/2013 by Jose from Indianapolis

            1 answer

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

We would not suggest wearing socks if you are going to be wearing the Churn in the water. This shoe is not waterproof, however it is water friendly. The breathable mesh upper and drain ports allow water to drain quickly which also helps the shoe dry faster.

            Q:

I'm getting mixed messages on this product, specifically whether or not the spider rubber is non-marking (for sailing). I found 2 separate retailers both advertising this as a non-marking sole, including West Marine. However, I also saw a Q&A indicating the opposite. Can you please verify?
