- Awkward to get on
- Odd fit
- Sandal strap rides up too high
- Strap is more for looks than adjusting fit
- Boat shoes
I bought this shoe on an impulse. I have that issue. And was it worth it? Eh. I own the Arrowood Cognac lux in 10.5 and it fits fantastic. Probably because of the laces of course. But the first time I put those on they were tight. Narrow and I have a very narrow foot. I expected the same from these seeing as they are based off the same design of the other shoes in the Arrowood line. But that's not how it turned out. This shoe has a seemingly right ankle fit due to the fact that it's hard to get on, but it's loose when it's actually on. My foot doesn't fit quite right, but this is likely the closest size available to me. The roof of the shoes is too high for me, and the strap doesn't allow you to actually adjust the shoe. If you try, you pinch the material and it folds on the sides. It ruins the look and over time, the material.
At the same time, I'm liking this shoe so far and it has the trademark Arrowood comfort. If you don't own a teva Arrowood or Swift shoe yet, then this may just be you're lucky chance. The soles of these shoes are magical.
All in all, if you have the extra money, I recommend this shoe. The material is good quality. From the rubber logo instead of printed, to the rubber tip on the sandal strap, this shoe is built to withstand life. You're money won't disappear very soon.
