GOOD BUT NOT STURDY!

By Kaimu

from Kalapana, Hawaii

About Me Alternative, Orchid Farmer

Pros

  • Breathes Well
  • Comfortable

Cons

  • Upper Separates From Sole

Best Uses

  • At The Beach
  • Casual Wear
  • Hawaii Work

Comments about Katavi Slide:

Aloha! Must be poor quality glue that causes the upper part from separating from the sole. They work well for the first 2-3 months then slippage starts. Hard to repair properly.

Best Uses

Comments about Katavi Slide:

I use them for a 'house' slipper but I am sure they would be just as good outdoors. I ordered a pair a few years back and they were too big.Not true too size(?). This time I ordered one size smaller and they fit great.

      Q:

This is my 3rd pair of Teva sandles. My only problem with them is they are too wide. They feel like D+ widths and my foot is narrow.
I don't see a width selection but if so let me know.
      Thanks

      Q:

I am just wondering if they can get wet and if so, how the suede holds up when they do get wet. Looking for a good quality sandle that I don't have to worry about getting wet if walking along the beach. Thank you.

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

Yes, you can get these wet. The suede and mesh uppers can handle wet environments. We recommend drying them naturally out of direct sunlight.

      Q:

I wear 10.5-11 in wide sizes. How are these sandals with wide feet? Should I get them in 11 or 12?
Asked on 9/18/2013 by Dave from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

      1 answer

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

This sandal only comes in a medium "D" width. However, it does run big. If you have a wide foot, we would recommend the 11.
