OFFICIAL RULES for Teva® Tag Line Contest
ELIGIBILITY
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Internet access is required to enter. Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 18 years or older at time of entry. Entries are limited to individuals only; commercial enterprises and business entities are not eligible. Employees or contract employees of Teva® and its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and parents and their immediate families or persons living in the same household of such individuals, are ineligible. CONTEST IS VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

SCHEDULE
The Contest begins on August 1, 2009 at 12:00:00am (PST) and ends on August 30, 2009 at 11:59:59 pm (PST). Entries must be received by 11:59:59 pm (PST), August 30, 2009.
HOW TO ENTER
Tag Line Requirements: To enter, you must tweet us your original Teva® Tag Line that you believe best represents what the Teva® brand is all about (your “Tag Line”) to @TevaMeansNature. If you do not have a Twitter® account, you can sign up for one at www.twitter.com. The person tweeting the Tag Line will be deemed the entrant. Entrants may submit more than one Tag Line. Your Tag Line must meet each of the following requirements in order to be accepted as a Contest entry:
- The Tag Line must be no longer than 5 words.
- The Tag Line must not violate any third party’s rights, including, but not limited to, copyrights rights of publicity, or trademark rights. The Tag Line must not violate or infringe (or may infringe) any copyright, trademark, logo, mark that identifies a brand or other proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity, or is otherwise objectionable.
- The Tag Line may not contain any obscene, indecent, illegal, inappropriate or hateful material, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
- Entrants must have all rights to the Tag Line.
By submitting the Tag Line, you represent and warrant that there are no violations of the above requirements. Sponsor may review your Tag Line to ensure compliance with the above requirements. Any Tag Line deemed by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to violate any of the above requirements will not be approved and will be disqualified from the Teva® Tag Line Contest. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding.
SPONSOR’S OWNERSHIP OF TAG LINE
By submitting a Tag Line, you:
- Represent that your entry is wholly original and does not incorporate or include anything that is owned by a third party, that the entry does not violate any copyrights, rights of publicity, trademarks, or any other right of any third party, and that you own all right, title, and interest in and to the Tag Line.
- Agree that you irrevocably assign all right, title, and interest in your entry (including, without limitation, the copyright) to Sponsor, including in any and all media whether now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, anywhere in the world, with the right to make any and all uses thereof, including, without limitation, for purposes of advertising or trade.
- Agree not to instigate, support, maintain, or authorize any action, claim, or lawsuit against Sponsor’s Ownership of the Tag Line, or any derivative works, infringes any of your rights or another’s rights as creator of the Tag Line, including, without limitation, copyrights, trademark rights, and moral rights.
ENTRIES
All entries become the property of Sponsor. They will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, entries. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, or obtained through fraud or theft. By entering you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
PRIZE
One (1) Teva® Tag Line Contest winner will be selected. The Teva® Tag Line Prize will consist of: - Fifty (50) pairs of Teva® Mush (styles 6110 / 6119 / 6282 / 6204 only) redeemable at www.teva.com via Teva® Mush gift certificates. Approximate retail value of $15-$24 per pair.
Any difference between approximate retail value and actual retail value will not be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is not redeemable for cash.
All federal, state and local taxes, fees and surcharges on Prize are the sole responsibility of the Teva® Tag Line Contest winner.
WINNER-SELECTION/JUDGING
All eligible Tag Lines will be judged on or before September 30, 2009 by a panel of 3 judges from Teva® based on the following criteria: a) best represents the Teva® brand; b) creativity; and c) originality, as determined by a vote of all judges. The Tag Line with the top overall score will be determined the Teva® Tag Line Contest winner. Judges' decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest. In the event of a tie, the winning Tag Line shall be the Tag Line which Teva® determines is the Tag Line that best represents the Teva® brand. Judges reserve the right not to award the Teva® Tag Line Contest Prize if they determine, in their sole discretion, that no Tag Line meets all criteria. By participating, entrants agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of the Judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Teva® Tag Line Contest winner will be notified via Twitter® on or before Nov 1, 2009.
REDEMPTION AND VERIFICATION
To redeem the prize, Teva® Tag Line Contest winner must respond within seven (7) business days of prize notification. Each potential winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within seven (7) business days. Failure to comply will result in the forfeit of the Teva® Tag Line Contest Prize. All prize claims are subject to verification and compliance with the Official Rules.
LIMITATION ON LIABILITY
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to contest entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or mailed-in entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
RIGHT TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND CONTEST
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
By accepting the Teva® Tag Line Contest Prize, the winner must be willing to accept the risk in using products won in the Contest and to confirm their acceptance of such risk in writing at Sponsor's request. Entrants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Teva® and their partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages and losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with participating in any aspect of the Contest, the receipt, ownership or use of prize awarded or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of the prize. Participants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) that the decisions of Sponsor are final on all matters relating to the contest; and (c) if he/she wins, to the use of his/her name, Tag Line, biographical information, photographs and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation (except where prohibited by law) and upon request, to provide consent to such use in writing.
WINNERS LIST
For Teva® Tag Line Contest winner name after November 1, 2009, send a separate self-addressed, stamped envelope to Deckers Outdoor Corporation dba Teva® at Mailing Address: 495-A S. Fairview Ave, Goleta, CA 93117 (Residents of Vermont need not include return postage).
NOTICE TO INDIVIDUALS; REMOVAL FROM MAILING LIST
Any individual (or duly authorized person) may elect to exclude the name and address of that individual from all lists used by Sponsor to mail contest. To elect to have an individual's name excluded from all such lists, submit a removal request in writing to Deckers Outdoor Corporation at mailing address. The notification system may be used to prohibit mailing of all skill contests or contest by Sponsor to such individual.
