After trying on a whole slew of shoes, my son insisted that nothing was as comfortable as Tevas. While I would normally be very reluctant to buy shoes online for a child, his shoes were true to size and he has been wearing them everyday since they came out of the box.
Hopefully, because they are winter shoes and worn with socks, we will not encounter the smell issues we had with his summer sandals.

Q:
I bought my son new asics sneakers a few a weeks ago. Asics because of the arch support that does not exist in most boys sneakers. Well new sneakers are now old sneakers because he kills them in no time. Laces are always undone and frayed and top part is filthy along with his socks because sand and water seeps in. He plays hard and is the type of kid that goes thru the puddle. At school he's usually playing soccer or in the sand pile. I think the Raith work well for him.
