Teva Opens First Concept Stores

Goleta, CA (April 30, 2008) – After almost 25 years in business, outdoor performance footwear brand, Teva® (a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation NASDAQ: DECK) will formally enter into the Chinese market this spring with the opening of two brand concept stores.

With almost 800 square feet of retail space, the first store will open in Shanghai, the financial and fashion centre of the region, at the end of April ’08. The second store, at 690 square feet, will quickly follow with an opening mid May in Beijing’s biggest lifestyle shopping center-SOLANA, just in time for the 2008 Olympics.

“This is a significant milestone for the Teva Brand”, said Pete Worley, Teva Brand President. “The opening of these two concept stores – the first in Teva’s history – reflects the exciting evolution of Teva into a year-round, full-service outdoor performance and lifestyle brand.”

Following the heritage of the Teva brand, the concept stores will offer a dynamic Teva experience to consumers showcasing both the performance and lifestyle aspects of the brand. The retail environment will bring the Brand to life, incorporating natural elements from flowing water to materials inspired by the rock walls of the Grand Canyon.
