Sport:SurferA native of the North Shore of Hawaii, Jamie Sterling has been immersed in the world of surfing his entire life. More specifically, he’s been immersed in the Hawaiian specialty of big wave surfing, and he’s built up quite a reputation for being one of the world’s best. He’s surfed Jaws, Mavericks, the Cortez Bank, Teahupoo, Todos Santos and towed in on every outer reef on the North Shore. Basically, if the wave is gigantic, Jamie has surfed it. When he’s not in the water, Jamie is on his computer looking at the swell reports, ready to take off to anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice if he sees waves coming.
