HonestlyWTF Design Step-by-Step


Cut the transfer film to get close to the edge of the design. Peel the backing off the Swarovski crystal transfer and place on the strap of the sandal.


With the clear plastic film still adhered to the top of the crystals, sandwich the transfer and strap between the heated flat iron. Apply even, moderate pressure without moving the iron.


Remove iron after 10-15 seconds and slowly remove the plastic film. If any crystals are still stuck to the film, replace the film and repeat the application.


If any of the crystals are not glued down after the film is completely removed, you can go back and individually place each crystal into the design and reheat with the iron.


To apply the single crystals, you'll need E6000 glue. Squeeze a quarter sized amount of the adhesive on a scrap piece of paper. Use a toothpick to scoop up a dollop of glue and place it on the backside of the crystal.


Place the crystal on the strap and hold it in place for about 2-3 minutes. Crystals applied with E6000 should be let to dry overnight. If you want to move the placement of the crystal after it has been glued, you must wait for it to dry completely before removing the crystal.
